Connecting PayPal to Merrisk
PayPal is fully supported by Merrisk. Here's how to connect your account.
Prerequisites
- An active PayPal Business account
- Admin access to your PayPal account
- A Merrisk account with completed business profile
Connection Steps
- Log in to your Merrisk dashboard
- Click "Connect more platforms" in the Verified Payment Sources section
- Click the PayPal button
- You'll be redirected to PayPal's authorization page
- Log in to PayPal if you aren't already
- Review the permissions and click "Agree and Connect"
- You'll be redirected back to Merrisk
What Happens Next
After connecting, Merrisk will:
- Fetch your transaction history (up to 24 months)
- Analyze your refunds and chargebacks
- Calculate or update your trust score
This process usually takes a few minutes. Your score will appear on your dashboard once complete.
Connecting Multiple PayPal Accounts
If you have multiple PayPal accounts, you can connect them all to the same Merrisk business. Each account's data will be aggregated into your overall Trust Score.
