Connecting Your Payment Processor

Merrisk calculates your trust score by analyzing your payment processing history. To get started, you'll need to connect at least one payment processor.

Supported Payment Processors

  • Stripe - Fully supported
  • PayPal - Fully supported
  • Square - Fully supported
  • Shopify Payments - Fully supported

How to Connect Your Payment Processor

  1. From your dashboard, click "Connect more platforms"
  2. Select your payment processor from the available options
  3. You'll be redirected to authorize the connection
  4. Log in to your account and approve access
  5. You'll be redirected back to Merrisk

What Data Do We Access?

Merrisk only accesses the data needed to calculate your trust score:

  • Transaction history (amounts, dates, status)
  • Refund information
  • Dispute/chargeback data
  • Customer information (anonymized)

Privacy: We never access your bank account, payout information, or sensitive financial data. Your data is encrypted and secure.

Connecting Multiple Accounts

You can connect multiple accounts from the same payment processor to a single Merrisk business. This is useful if you have separate accounts for different parts of your business. All data will be aggregated into a single Trust Score.
